Acibadem Hospitals have launched a new in-hospital campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ‘Ready for All Rounds’, combining visual impact with actional pathways to early diagnosis and screening.
Building on last year’s heavy punching-bag installation, 2025’s activation introduces pink boxing gloves in the form of the iconic breast cancer ribbon.
This is now displayed in hospital corridors, radiology waiting areas, nurse stations and digital screens, accompanied by the headline “WE ARE READY FOR ALL ROUNDS”, with the educational line of ‘Protect yourself with regular check-ups and stay strong against breast cancer with early diagnoses’.
Professor Metin Çakmakçı, MD, breast cancer specialist at Acıbadem, said: “Breast cancer is one of more than 200 tumour types, yet it carries particular weight as the most common cancer worldwide. Each year, around 2.3 million people, mainly women, receive this diagnosis. What changes the story is early detection and a coordinated, expert team.
This campaign has been created to remind patients that breast cancer, when detected early, can be faced round-by-round, with the boxing theme representing resilience and being prepared.”
Unlike external campaigns, this is designed to convert awareness into immediate action. Visitors are directed via posters and screens to on-site breast imaging services, with Acibadem staff actively reminding eligible patients about screening.
Same-day evaluations are offered where appropriate, reinforcing the message that breast cancer checks should not be delayed.
The Acıbadem Breast Cancer Clinic offers a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment pathway. Following a detailed physical exam, patients can undergo ultrasound, mammography or MRI, with a same-day biopsy when abnormalities are detected.
Pathology results are typically available within 2–3 days, ensuring rapid treatment planning.
Treatment plans combine surgery, systemic therapies and advanced radiotherapy, with multidisciplinary teams working in proximity to accelerate decisions and improve patient outcomes.
